Oh boy, if not this one, then I'm not sure:

I guess the "Canada" 1908-1998 One cent, Antique Finish N#358087

Since no Canada exists on this, would explain all the maybe answers

But that coin is found under Canada, so shouldn't be a maybe.

I thought that was the one, and yes, a strange round of course

I have been wanting to play one of these for a while, so I should be ready...

As, the new "Topic Starter" we are carrying the Rules over

Quote:
RULES:

1. One question per post. After 20 questions, and no correct guesses, the 'game master' will reveal the coin and restart (no winners).
2. One guess per user. You may guess at any time before guessing is closed, keep in mind that if you guess wrong, you're out for the round!
3. Guessing will be open 24 hours after the last question is asked, then the round will end.
4. Pictures of the coin are required and should be posted at the end of the round!
5. A round will automatically end with a correct guess.
6. At the beginning of the round, the 'game master' can give hints, but doesn't have to!
7. Guesses require a date, general name, and mintmark (if applicable). Guesses should be labeled as a guess, for example, "I guess..." or "My guess..."

(Additional rules will be added if needed.)

ROUND 1

I'll start with some hints by saying my coin is made of silver and not ancient.

Let's Begin!

EDIT: Deleted rule 7 and replaced it with rule 8.

Quote:
8. The new gamemaster must begin the next round within 24 hours of round's end. Otherwise the previous gamemaster will begin the round. The OP will start after 48 hours if niether of the gamemasters start the round.

Here's the pics, and a blurb. I really like this coin. It has so much going for it. A true Mint error without Canada on it. How could QC let this slip!. An Antique Proof finish. Why would you make a proof coin look old intentionally. The other coins really show it. I only need the 50 cent piece to finish the set. Then, this is my only silver large cent. It sounds great flopping around in that oversize 2X2 when you set it down. I showed the BS a long time ago and they all loved them. They are pretty unique. They grade at PF-60.

That's a nice looking coin loonielewy. More of a "design error" than "mint error" and why would they plate copper over silver...

I'm building up my collection of Victoria and George V Canadian cents. Best looking Canadian coins IMO.
