I was under the impression you realized it was a West Point Mint quarter & only 2m struck w/ this particular design (somewhat rare) & wanted to preserve, possibly attempt to restore it to its former glory vs the disgusting current condition it appears to be in.

2 million doesn't seem that rare.

Considering most modern day quarters have mintages in the hundreds of millions, to reiterate .... 2m is (somewhat rare).

Guess I should probably take it down and give it to the local coin shop. They might have more appreciation.

Congrats on finding a quarter you like and it mintage is low which makes it desirable to folks collecting these W quarters.

FWIW- on ebay, an unblemished quarter like yours sells for around $10.
Words of encouragement are one of the major food groups.
We need to consume them regularly to thrive and grow.
