Moe, where did you find the PCGS photo? Do you have a loop to closely examine if the dribble may be worn down on your coin? Cointalk.org has the following on their forum: "While easy to counterfeit, the three-legged Buffalo when genuine displays a moth-eaten appearance on hindquarters of the beast, and a thin dappled line resembling pee descending in an arc from the little thingy hanging there under the beast's belly." Hi Tony! The PCGS pic was from an ebay ad. One F-15 example is 130304449275. There are several on ebay that don't show the "dribble" that have been certified by either NGS or PCGS. I just think the "dribble" is the first thing to wear off on a circulated coin. The moth eaten right rear leg and the displaced "E Pluribus Unum" are the secondary identifiers. Here's a certified XF40 example.   Edited by Moe145

Moe, after further research it looks like you have the real deal. I guess the ANA instructor wasn't clear enough. |

I was definitely a little nervous at first.  I had my doubts, for sure!  (Obviously, no one wants to spend money on a fake!) Getting everyone smart on these things is what this forum is all about!  |

I completely forgot I had originally broken my 1937 D 3 Leg out of it's slab and here is the tag. Now we have authentication!  |

Moe, the PCGS website lists an F12 for $915, and the NGC's official price guide lists the "fair market value" of a VG8 at$640 and an F12 at $890.
I would guess yours is worth $765. Do you remember what you paid for it?
