Returning to baseball for a moment...

Here's a large bronze medal from 1973 that was struck by the US Mint. It was struck to honor the life and legacy of Roberto Clemente, the Pittsburgh Pirates right fielder who died in a plane crash off the coast of Puerto Rico on New Year's Eve 1972. Clemente was on a mission of mercy to aid those who were suffering in the aftermath of a destructive earthquake that had hit Nicaragua.

What makes the medal unusual is the fact that it has convex surfaces on the obverse as well as reverse.to give it the "suggestion" of being a sphere/baseball.
