So that leaves me with one option, I guess...
Was this coin issued between 1850 and 1887?

Does this coin have the highest frequency percentage of its type (in this case 56%) on Numista?

Then I shall guess the 1850 5 cents depicting William III (Willem III) from the Netherlands. Fool-proof?

Quote: Guesses must include enough information to uniquely identify the coin. Date, country, denomination and any mint mark or variety

Terrific! For a moment I thought you would count my second guess as incorrect but I'm not entirely sure of the rules surrounding that. Thanks again MMM!

Quote: For a moment I thought you would count my second guess as incorrect but I'm not entirely sure of the rules surrounding that. You only get one guess but two minutes to correct a typo or brain explosion by deleting the original guess and reposting. However, If a guess doesn't uniquely identify a coin it is neither correct nor incorrect. You must add more info (in a new post) but in the meantime someone else still has the right to correctly guess the coin and "pinch it off you". I imagine it would be a bit tough to take but thems the rulesYou recovered in time so well done. (triggersmob doesn't seem to be the type to do that sort of thing but beware of those who are)

Ok Round 5 is underway. Can OzCollection win 3 in a row. This coin is unusual and maybe even weird. . .
