Saw my first 2025 nickel today at work! Now I've encountered every commonly circulating denomination except for dimes.

Received 2025-D cents and nickels so far. Threw the cents into the Zincoln bucket for the credit union coin machine and spent the nickels. Already have a nicer 2025-D nickel for the Whitman.

I mostly collect new US quarters these days. I have complete sets of the 50 States and America the Beautiful issues, collected over many years of careful sorting through change. Now, halfway through the final year of the American Women series, I'm finding it harder than ever to find new issues in everyday change. I've made lots of small transactions over the past six months, and even visited a couple of change machines, but I have yet to find any of the 2025 quarters. Am I wrong to think that it's getting harder to find new coins in circulation?
(On further reflection, I found a post I made on this forum one year ago, bemoaning the fact that I had not yet found any 2024 quarters by July. So maybe it's no worse than usual.)

Quote: Am I wrong to think that it's getting harder to find new coins in circulation? You are not wrong. It was getting tough before, but I finally gave up collecting from circulation during the pandemic. Now my album holes are being filled with the coins freed from uncirculated and proof sets issued by the Mint. For what it is worth, my American Women Quarters Dansco will be my first album ever completed with 100% Mint purchases. Not a single coin from circulation.

I found my first 2025 coin, a 2025-D Lincoln Cent from a take-a-penny tray at a 7-11.
