As far as damaged coins, who knows for sure, but you have to take into context the time frame and what some may have been dealing with at that time. I have seen a lot of these coins during WW1 and WW2 times. I cannot imagine what they may have been going through, possibly sitting in a foxhole, nothing more than a penny and a knife and a whole lot of strife. cabowabo Pillar of the Community United States 1064 Posts	Posted 06/30/2025 10:44 pm Stopped to get some penny rolls Thursday. Picked up 60 got a wheat here and there usual stuff. Then open a roll solid wheats that continues for another 7 rolls a very nice assortment. Teens- 15 20s - 26 30s -30 40s -141 50s -208. I missed one pic of the fifty coins only showing 7. cabowabo Pillar of the Community United States 1064 Posts	Posted 07/08/2025 10:46 pm Went through a bunch of rolls last night picking up a few here and there not sure if the coin above the Buffalo is silver. I left these 6 rolls for last. I haven't gotten any nickles in these types of wrappers in the past. I had a really good feeling about them. I opened 1 and this is what in got.
