A Clement XII - 1 Quattrino (1739) from the Gubbio mint

This coin was issued during the administrative reforms of Monsignor Filippo Casoni. That year the mint tightened standards for copper denominations, producing clearer and more consistent quattrini.

This one is a little worn and battered - but it all adds to the life it had.

A Innocent XI 1686 half Grosso.

I posted the 1685 version quite a while ago - but they are quite different types in that it has the reverse text within a wreath while this coin has the same reverse text within cartouche.

Another add of a Pius IX 4 Soldi. This is quite a nice set to aim for. There are only 7 date / regnal year combinations and they are large impressive looking coins - and they are all fairly common too. 3 more to go!

Another somewhat worn quattrino from Bologna added. although nominally issued under the rulership of Benedict XIV - the design is one purely of Bologna's making

Another quattrino from Bologna - this time dated 1726. This particular date seemed to have added in some ornamentation in the form of a "leaf frieze" below the date.
