Next up, the 2005 Alberta (Canada) Centennial Silver $5; Alberta joined the Canadian Confederation in 1905. Cattle are seen grazing to the right of an oil derrick (viewer's perspective) on the coin's commemorative reverse.

I have several ancient coins with bull, here's three: Greek, 3rd cent. BC, Cales, Campania, Apollo, reverse man headed bull, lyre above, 20mm. Roman Provincial, Arados, Phoenicia, busts of Astarte and emperor Trajan, reverse bull, 23mm. Roman Provincial, Amphipolis, Macedon, Augustus Caesar, reverse Europa on bull, 22mm.

Another one from Iceland, whose modern coins feature their four traditional protector spirits ("Landvættir"). One of them is Grioungur the Bull, protector of northwestern Iceland. Iceland 1000 Kronur 1974: 1000th Anniversary of Settlement
