Next up, the 2005 Alberta (Canada) Centennial Silver $5; Alberta joined the Canadian Confederation in 1905. Cattle are seen grazing to the right of an oil derrick (viewer's perspective) on the coin's commemorative reverse.

Roman Provincial, Arados, Phoenicia, busts of Astarte and emperor Trajan, reverse bull, 23mm.

Roman Provincial, Amphipolis, Macedon, Augustus Caesar, reverse Europa on bull, 22mm.

I figured I'd show the silver NCLT version to present "both sides" of the design's story!

The Montana State Quarter you posted always reminds me of the Old Spanish Trail half dollar I posted.

Thanks for the additions Livingwater. The man's head bull is sort of creepy.

Another one from Iceland, whose modern coins feature their four traditional protector spirits ("Landvættir"). One of them is Grioungur the Bull, protector of northwestern Iceland.
