I've seen several AU-58's with less detail on the hair, cheek, and eagle's breast from strike quality or wear or both than your coin. You snagged a nice one. Report this Post to the Staff
panzaldi Bedrock of the Community United States 18717 Posts	Posted 06/07/2025 08:31 am first congratulations on completing your set. there are not very many collectors that can claim this. this is a nicely struck 95(O) that are normally seen soft and weak. the photos are not the best, a little out of focus. these eyes are having difficulty in picking out the luster or lack thereof. based on the reverse looks like it had a dip at some point, but not overly done and would not affect anything. the scratch across the leaves at K5 rev is not in a key area and would not affect it much either using my grading scale I'm coming up with an AU55 coin.
