I hoarded for over a decade, then the problem. I had an overflowing 5 gallon pail in my house that was unmovable. After thinking it through, I decided is was a waste of time and space for very little end profit. Inflation alone outpaces the value of copper. I dumped them little by little at a Coinstar for gift cards (no fee). I'm glad they're gone, hated that immoveable pail!

When I was CRH I set aside all the coppers and I still have a large glass jar of them that I continue to add to when I get one in change.
