No, still working out the bugs. I saw it once yesterday and haven't seen it since.

I saw that error once last night, but not any time today.

Having to open the page again (and scroll back to the right place) instead of being able to just reload it when I'm trying to watch for updates on a subforum is really annoying.
Probably worth it if the alternative is "server melts down", but there might be a lot less contributions from me in the future, because it would be that much harder to keep track of what's being discussed.

Quote: Are you using the New Posts link? What, no, I just left a subforum page open and reloaded it sometimes. Am I supposed to use that instead? It looks pretty complicated.

Not really. It shows all the new posts since your last visit or last reset. Press Mark All as Read to reset the list. It is the best way to use CCF.

Regarding the New Posts function, that is my landing page. It is broken down by forum and subforum, allowing you to easily see what has received more posts since your last visit. You can select a specific timeframe in hours or days. I just go through the list, and open everything that looks interesting into a new tab, using the little blue arrow to go straight to the newer posts.
I also have strong subforum preferences, and that is by far the easiest way to pick out new and interesting posts since my last visit.

How does it know whether I'm human?

Pertinax, I tried to create an anonymous bookFace account for privacy reasons. They knew right away that I was bogus and slammed the door on me.

Quote: How does it know whether I'm human? Pertinax, if that's a serious question, they are tracking every action you take and looking for patterns indicative of a bot versus of a human. A human will scroll and click links, going into and out of pages. A bot methodically clicks each link, either depth first or breadth first to see all linked pages. Stuff like that.
