I just found a PC version of "Jungle Hunt" -
Nice!

I use the Vice emulator to run my 64/128 software on PCs. I also have a program that can read my 1581 discs, so I imaged them for emulator use.

Still, using the old hardware just feels better.

Sorry for the hijack, Hondo.

New computer arrived yesterday. HP with useless keyboard and mouse included. I lost everything on my C drive, but fortunately all of my coin stuff was on the D.
Evidently Windows 11 is designed to thwart you if you try to use older versions of Office or any browser other than Edge. I reinstalled my Office 2003 (hey, don't laugh - the Word and Excel are all I need now) yet the programs have little functionality. I can open files by clicking on them in File Explorer and save them, but selecting either "Save As" or "Open" causes the program to freeze at the dialog box.
I had to stop using AVG Secure Browser because it is now sooooooo slooooooow. Coin images on the CCF take over a minute each to display. Firefox is better. I probably should just accept the fact that I will be assimilated and use Edge. But I do draw the line at paying a subscription fee for the latest version of Office.
At least my Photoshop 6.0 still works!

Hondo I have a 5 year old HP with windows 11 and AVG and probably the same Office package, all working fine.

What is wrong with the keyboard and mouse? I also have a wireless and found I had to put it in a different USB port to get them to work right.

Make a backup. Then backup that backup. And backup the backup of the backup. Having too many backups is impossible.

Stick with that. It works great with 11.

The included ones are crap. They should just stop including them and make it a separate purchase like it used to be. Too many stupid people out there though.

I have Logitech devices that are far preferable: K350 keyboard and M575 trackball.

When I got my mew computers, they also are HP and came with crappy keyboards and mice. They are the cheap wired type. I keep them only in the case I need to get into the BIOS for some reason (like changing the tiny battery in it - which is something I needed to do on my old computer., I need the wired keyboard and mouse to navigate BIOS because Windows drivers aren't loaded for my wireless KB/M

I'm finally getting this one under control. It was only marginally useful due to freezes and crashes. Finally yesterday did a reset (which took over 10 hours) and that seems to have helped.
I copied the files of immediate importance from my old D: to the new one and then removed it. But I have a problem to overcome. I can't access many of my old files (dating back 35 years) still on the old drive because I do not have "permission" to open them. I'll be working on that as time allows.
