Gold just crossed $4,500. Seeing $4,517.20 on comex tonight. Ripping, it looks like.

I got to know every denny's in the mid south and southwest. 24 hrs a day.. always open as a refuge for the road weary needing a safe place to sleep. never had a problem with the food. basic; consistent; affordable. maybe all that has changed. I am too old now to tempt fate but it was a great adventure at the time.

Has anyone checked on the guy that basically told us holding PMs was stupid and how he unloaded "buckets full" of silver a few months ago?

For years some YouTube channels were predicting high silver/gold prices. It's finally coming true. A while back I was hesitant but bought a 10 oz silver bar for $449.99 at Costco, that's a cheap price now. Glad I started stacking silver/gold back in 2016. But at today's prices I won't be buying much. I will get the 2026 proof silver eagle with dual date and privy.
I've never seen a cockroach at a Denny's, still eat there sometimes. Three months ago wife and I ate at Texas Roadhouse, as we we finished eating a cockroach crawled right up on the table and across my wife's plate. I flipped the plate over and captured it. The manager said they get them sometimes in shipments of fresh produce, spray to kill them during closed hours. Our meal was free.

Quote: i loved that place 'back in the day' [40+ years ago]... So did I. I have been sober 29 years, 11 months, and 17 days, so you know how far "back in the day" it was for me.  When I cleaned up, the place did not hit the same for me so I quit going. I still have Waffle House though.

He literally said on 10/21, "The smartest people have already unloaded and invested elsewhere. There are zero rational arguments to holding something large amounts of something that pays zero interest and costs lots to store." He also said on 10/10, "Anyone buying right now at these levels truly needs a reality check!" This has pretty much been his MO in this sub-forum. Really makes you wonder why he puts so much effort into saying the things he does.

Maybe it wasn't rational to hold silver, but evidently it was right! In an irrational world, sometimes you just need to go with the flow.

I remember laughing at it. I showed it to the cat and he laughed at it, too. I almost replied, but thought better of it. why dignify that with a comment? I figured someone else might, but I don't believe anyone did. I proceeded forward and forgot about it. how could I have forgotten about it... oh yeah, I know: because I'm sitting on a small heap of silver a couple years-deep into a secular bull market that I read about 20+ years ago. I'm also sitting on a pouch of Au/Ag that only cost me a bike ride each night. very shrewd move, unloading those bucketsful of silver early. no doubt the poster's fiat is going parabolic by now while pathetic Ag languishes in the low $70-range... I wish the poster well, no ill will. to each his/her own, but the cat & I will continue hanging with the stackers and trackers. $80 silver by new year's eve.
