The list has been completed and is about to be sent out. This year Santa used a random generator to select exchanges. First he had to consider those that said they would agree to send foreign Then he had to consider those that only wanted to exchange within their own countries. then he had to check the news to see the progress on the Canadian Postal service strikes and threats. Now there is a list in place.
You should all receive your assignments in the next 48 hours.
If there is an issue with your assignment please let me know - Remember if you have been assigned someone you exchanged in the past - this is doene by a computer generated list- Enjoy

Everyting sent out - so far only found one duplicate If you did not get an email Please let me know.
The emails are very simple - just a persons forum name and their mailing address - have fun.

I just got my name via email. Thanks Richard.
So I searched on the forum for my person and did not find it. I guess his screen name is not his real name. I went to the "What our members collect page" and didn't find it there.
How do I get some idea of what kind of coin my person would enjoy? I thought we'd be getting the screen name of our person.
Edit: I just read Richards post that got posted as I was typing. I went back and looked at the email and now I see the Forum name. My mistake.

Alright then, I've been fretting about this since I signed up, what to give.... After a couple of hours digging and researching, I have a good feel for it. This is fun! First time doing this, sad to say, but happy to be here. Thank you, Richard! Had to add this, 7777 on my post and had 777.7 on my resettable tac on the truck today, odd.... Lottery ticket?

I've sent my Secret Santa gift!
If it's not too late, please could I ask my Secret Santa to mail my gift in an ordinary envelope so it looks like a Christmas card, and doesn't require a signature? I will be away over Christmas and there's a risk that it might get taken back to the sorting office and returned to the sender! (I'll have friends staying in the house but they won't have the required ID and in any case don't want to give them the burden of getting the bus to the sorting office while they're on vacation!) For extra comfort, maybe leave it until January to send! Thanks!
