EllieTheDog Valued Member Ireland 53 Posts	Posted 10/10/2025 04:55 am It seems to be Amsterdam School, which is similar to and from the same period as when Art Deco was developing. When I was in The Netherlands the last time, about 2 years ago, I was looking at a lot of architecture and design, and I saw some amazing Amsterdam School style buildings from the 1910s and 1920s. The tower on it is Dom Tower Utrecht, which was finished in 1382, and restored in 1910, of course predating art deco and Amsterdam school. Report this Post to the Staff

tdziemia Pillar of the Community United States 7935 Posts	Posted 11/11/2025 5:37 pm I lived for a while in Belgium when those coins were circulating. I thought they showed cubist influence on the portrait side, though I guess the blocky lettering on the other side has things in common with Art Deco.
