barryg Just remember the saying, if anybody is familiar with the 1980's NY lottery ads that said "you've got to be in it to win it"... Nobody wants to be the guy that sold it ALL at $40 if that day comes.

My fear is that if silver actually did hit $300/oz, where in the world would I find a dealer with deep enough pockets to allow me to cash out?

Cash out at $299, they'll be more than happy to pay that. That's my plan anyway.

You should have no problem getting there in your brand new boat. Or find where Tesla, Ford, etc get the Silver for the electric batteries and make a deal with them. Worst case scenario we'll take it to where they buy all those stolen catalytic converters to strip them of the platinum, paladium and rhodam on the black market.. Just don't you worry your little head off okay, trust me we'll cross that bridge when we get to it okay.

Kitco News Youtube channel has an interesting commentary in todays video about the Shanghai spread and COMEX. Some interesting comparisons and breakdowns on what's happening between physical and paper and world markets. Worth watching. Video title; The 100:1 Silver Leverage Myth: David Morgan on the Real Bullion Bank Exposure Quote: Silver is witnessing a profound structural shift as the physical market begins to exert dominance over paper pricing mechanisms. In this deep-dive interview, recorded on February 11, 2026, Jeremy Szafron, Anchor of Kitco News, sits down with David Morgan, publisher of The Morgan Report, to analyze the "plumbing" of the global silver market.

Quote: I do not see any overnight shenanigans. Nope, nothing too crazy last night. They did a double tap (test) on $81, and both times it held up. That should put Silver in position for a bounce. Lets see what happens when the casino opens.

Looking back at the past 2 weeks, ever since the Monday after the big crash. I can see this $82 level has acted as both an area of support and of resistance. You could draw a line straight through it. I'm convinced Silver put in a floor. Right at this moment it's acting as support.

Gold looks even more steady than Silver at the moment. It's been marching in an almost straight line, either just above or just below $5070, since Monday. Volatility continues near its low this morning. So it should be a very boring day for metals if that continues. Or is this the calm before the storm?

SHFE (Shanghai Futures Exchange) will be closed for their Spring Festival. I'm not clear on why they list it like this: Spring Festival: SHFE will close on holidays from February 15, 2026 (Sunday) to February 23, 2026 (Monday), and will open as usual on February 24, 2026 (Tuesday). It will also close on February 14, 2026 (Saturday) and February 28, 2026 (Saturday). There is no continuous trading on February 13, 2026 (Friday).Could be an interesting week next week w/o Asian influence. Buckle up. https://www.shfe.com.cn/eng/Circula..._829807.html
