I think that people are becoming too excited with precious metals. Especially silver. Quote:India is making silver a monetary metal. In April 2026 they plan to set the silver-gold ratio at 10:1 when used for bank and non-bank loans. Watch what the price of silver does then. How many other countries will follow. https://www.sgtreport.com/2025/10/i...-money-role/ This can not be true. Bi-metallism never worked well. Now it would be impossible. Because silver is too much a critical industrial metal for the modern economy for anyone to set it a stable ratio with gold. What is being said there can not happen. Price of silver depends on industrial demand. No one will be issuing silver currency for common use. Or stocking silver in central banks for international settlements. Silver has no financial use. It is only being speculated with. Same as with other industrial metals, speculation also moves prices. But the anchor is industrial use.

I was only able to swap 1 Double Eagle. My dealer was almost cleaned out of 90%. He said people are buying it even with the refiners refusing to taking it.

My LCS is selling junk silver at spot. People are bringing it in by the bucket.
Inordinately fascinated by bits of metal with strange markings and figures

Sometimes these round numbers ($50, $100, etc.) are like magnets. The stock or commodity is "sticking to it" for a while until it is ready to move again.

Smack downs to try to cover the banksters shorts. Don't panic, silver will win the race. All the exchanges are low on physical metal. Just lots of paper.

Oof.
Silver is currently below $47 and gold has fallen below $4000. I'm not going to declare the bubble has burst, but I am starting to feel like the proverbial blush is off the bloom.

Artificial slam before the Fed lowers interest rates tomorrow which should give silver and gold a bump up. If you don't have to sell right now, it doesn't matter. If you want more, great buying opportunity.
