Silver is doing the sideways chop in ~$59 after the bump.

European Market's just closed and we're still pretty stable. Today's an Op Ex day so the market maker's might pin the price this afternoon.

I don't expect there will be too much more profit taking today, since we haven't really gone anywhere this week and there hasn't been any bad news today that I'm aware of. But one never knows what could happen.

I can however imagine the Shorts might start closing their positions at end of day (meaning they buy them back) so we might even see another little bump Up this afternoon at the close.

Either way we'll start fresh on Monday, with some good news hopefully, or at least no more bad news for Silver and Gold.

July Silver future's opened at $58.02 and closed at $58.45 how exciting. Like watching paint dry.

Reminds me of when I was selling covered call options in SLV back around 2021.

I would buy 1,000 shares of SLV at $20.27 per share (just for example) and then turn around and sell Covered Call contracts against those shares for $22 a share with a 1 month expiration. It would take about 3 to 4 week's for Silver to move $2 and close above that strike and have my shares called away.

So boring and not worth my time that I gave it up and just traded more exciting and profitable stuff.

Today was like a Deja Vu of when Silver was so stable it barely moved. Anyone expecting a big move up or down next week may find themselves disappointed.

I don't sell Covered Call options anymore because of that. Now when I trade options I sell Credit Spreads or buy naked Calls and Puts.

This weekend a lot of people will have the chance to buy Silver at $58-$59 bucks, something they have not been able to do since November December of last year.

I just checked again after stock market closed and COMEX trading took it up a little more to close at $59.16

Maybe some of that end of day short covering I mentioned earlier or a sign we'll see $60+ Monday
