Pretty soon, we'll have to rename this thread to "Will it hit $100?"

Come on... we need $80, $90 first! I am already plotting the topic title changes.

We are currently having $2 up days. Next will be $5, then $10 days. Reminds me of the excitement during the 1979-80 run up.

Quote: Can't believe how high silver is getting. You and me both! When I started this thread back in October, I was legitimately wondering whether silver would actually hit $50 or fall just short before dropping back down to historic levels. It never even occurred to me at the time that silver would be at $64 just two months later.

Yeah, I'm already questioning whether it was really worth shelling out $215 for the Morgan and Peace dollar 2025 Reverse Proof Two-Coin Set that I just bought due to a subscription that I signed up for last year. And I usually buy the "special" gold coin the mint offers each year, but gave up on that idea once gold hit $3000.

Reminder: on 12/11/2024, silver was $31.70.

Quote: Last week, the comex had to stop metals trading several times intra-day because they ran out of silver in their vaults. thank you very much for that lucid, informative post, numismatic student. was that the 'cooling issue' day? i started this two hours ago, but lost my window (thanks, iphone ). I won't try pecking those thoughts out again. I lost twenty minutes of babble. $70 should be here soon, but don't underestimate banker trickery. they're still going to try to employ every tactic to keep the price tamped down as much as possible despite their lack of physical silver.
