Wow. In overnight trading silver is now closing in on $69 and gold is above $4400. Will they get smacked back down before the U.S. markets open tomorrow?

I wonder what the escalating silver price will mean for (inter)national mint products. Will people really shell out more and more US and Canadian dollars, euros for a silver coin or set?

it blew through the $68 range in under 2 hours. interesting; I wonder what happened at 8pm that caused silver to spike upward. it's still going up, around $69.19 now. $70 is within spitting distance.
