Well, the stock market is tanking this morning, so let's see if silver (and gold) have an equal yet opposite reaction...

Quote: Well, the stock market is tanking this morning, so let's see if silver (and gold) have an equal yet opposite reaction Yup, gold and silver ETF's all gapped UP this morning while S&P and NASDAQ both gapped DOWN at the open. Last time the market gapped DOWN like this at the open was in August. Good for metals, bad for everything else.

Everything is being taken out back to the woodshed today, even bitcoin futures getting beat up.
Only my gold, silver, metals, mining and consumer staples positions are holding up.
I think that's called the flight to safety, in case the "SHTF", trade.

I purchased this round exactly one year ago today. Yeah, I overpaid, but it's the Saints!
Inordinately fascinated by bits of metal with strange markings and figures

Quote: Am I the only who is surprised that no bullion banks have gone under yet? Oddly enough there hasn't been much discussion about it, possibly due to all the other distractions that are being thrown at us. But I digress... I think the last thing I remember hearing is that "just wait until ALL those March 2026 paper silver contracts come due and the whales demand to be paid in physical bullion and not in cash".... Oh Boy.. what if Instead of "show me the money" they'll be saying Show me the bullion. Talk about "swimming naked"

Wow!! looks like it went parabolic in the past hour, and it's been going up since Monday night prior to this move. Wild ride indeed.

they're rippin' overnight. this is just stunning, especially gold. $100 silver can't be too far away. Quote: Am I the only one who is surprised that no bullion banks have gone under yet? I'm with you on that one. there must be all sorts of shenanigans going on behind the money-green curtain. the roaches must be in full-scurry mode.
