First thing in the morning I will dump half my IAU position. I will buy back when I hear the talking heads proclaim that "the precious metals bull market is over". I just looked at Florida housing market data and it looks EXACTLY like 2007.

Now to wait for the regular market to open and see what happens. Could be dynamite or could be a nothing burger cause someone or something somewhere got spooked about something else.  Someone sure as heck knows what happened last night, what's gonna happen today and what's coming next. And that person sure ain't us right now. Who knows maybe in 5 or 8 years we'll be reading about what all was really behind the madness. But I digress. Right now though, the Nasdaq and S&P have been selling off since 6am, and I haven't seen any headlines yet. Just know that when the house of cards falls it usually takes down everything else around it.

Just a little more perspective; Right now the Nasdaq has fallen through an upward rising trendline that's been in place since exactly the first week of 2023, that was the last market bottom..
The last time it fell through that floor was in March of 2025 when the market crashed, fueled by tariff fears I think or whatever, but that selloff lasted 6 weeks before bouncing. And then it took another 10 weeks to recover and get back above support.
