Yup that is what they said, but who knows? How honest are they or the information they're putting out really?

Based on reports surrounding COMEX activity in late January/early February 2026, it is widely reported that JP Morgan closed a significant silver short position exactly when silver bottomed out on Friday, January 30, 2026.
Here's the image of the document showing which banks closed shorts "coincidentally" at the bottom on Friday. Does anybody truly know what's going on though?

Massive, back to back literal free fall drops since Friday, no market halts, no stops, no circuit breakers tripping, just let it crash.

2 of the cliff dives happening, coincidentally, after regular retail market hours when there's low liquidity.

So much for , oh there is a shortage of silver .
The uses in industry can't keep the price from exploding .
And all the other reasons that silver is going to go Moon Rocket !
All ye metal heads forgot two things .
Number 1 .Markets stay irrational a lot longer than YOU have
Liquidity!
Number 2 .The small guys ALWAYS get crushed .
Anyone not SELLING into this crazy upswing instead
BUYING richly deserves the results.
Metalheads never learn ..you cannot buy groceries or
gasoline with a bar of silver . But you sure can with the
profits from the sales .
Not sorry one bit for any one who continues to buy into the
" Silver Story " .
Silver is just another commodity, like coffee, wheat , pork bellies etc.

Not sure why every silver drop has to be a conspiracy theory. Every other market, equities, crypto are getting crushed. Is someone conspiring to bring all the other markets down at the same time? Markets have runs up and runs down. Gold and silver seem to always go up with a long enough holding period. People seem to get mad when market prices don't do what they think the market ought to do. Just hold and chill. It will probably work out if you are just able to hold. If you are levered or need the money right away, that's a different story.

I think this pretty much describes it perfectly. Seems like it should have been included in this threads title. Perhaps even made into a sticky to forewarn all who dare to enter.
