Quote: Are they the copper 2009 cents or zinc? I believe just the zinc. They are just regular business strike. I think the satin and proofs were the copper ones.

Quote: They are just regular business strike. I think the satin and proofs were the copper ones. Correct. The uncirculated mint sets have 95% copper and in 2009 they were still doing that satin thing.

Were all the satin cents 95% copper or just the 2009 set?

Quote:I see my previous reply left some ambiguity and for that I apologize. yeah, the 2009 uncirculated sets were Copper Satin finish struck coins only for the 2009 production year. From 2005-2008, and 2010 were copper plated zinc satin finish cent coins. For all my modern coin Dansco albums, I added a separate page just to showcase the satin finish coin for each denomination for all the years they produced them. But for the locations in the normal P and D holes in each album, I place normal struck uncirculated coin there.

A very generous member sent me a whole roll of fun . I don't know if he wants me to mention his name, so I'll let him chime in if he wants. Will take me some time to go though them all and add them to the album. I'll post updated pics of the pages when I do

That certainly was nice of them!
Also, nice 1960-D small date. Have you come to the 1970-S small date yet?
What do you plan on doing for the Wheat cents? It was somewhat easy back when I started searching for them, but now with all the disarray with cents, I'm gathering that cent rolls are probably quite impossible, or limited in quantities, to acquire.

I still need the 1970-S small date and the 1960 small date. The 70 one is hard because I don't always trust the sellers with the raw coin as an actual small date. I may have to end up getting a graded one. After I add what's in the roll I'll just pick them up individually off of ebay by date and mint mark as money permits. I don't think I'll find much by buying rolls of wheats to go through, so probably better to just put the money to what I still need.

seakmonkey, are there any dealers near you? Some might have partial collections or loose ones you can dig through. My LCS in Canada has a lot of partial sets of US one cent coins, so in the US they must be overflowing with them.
