That is too funny, I was doing a search for the 12-S and went to pull that one up and someone bought it right as I did. I thought, I wonder if Humanist bought it

I was looking for you, not for me. I knew I saw some the other day under 150

You are a kind soul I think the first coin I'll upgrade is the 1887. I've seen some nice ones for around 20-25 bucks. I dunno when I'll do this, I'm all tapped out right now after all this money-wise. But, when I do, that'll be the first one me thinks.

Thanks, jbuck and EV I'm supposed to get my 1912-S this weekend. I think I will be done for quite some time with ridiculously expensive purchases for this series. At least for now. However, I think what I'm going to do is start a second, lower grade set. I like the idea of worn Liberty nickels. I don't know why, I just like them. Maybe because I am a big fan of the design? Also, they can be had for pretty darn cheap! I think for this route, though, I might go with a Whitman album. I came across some recently after pondering some of their albums, and it doesn't look too bad. I like the way it's laid out. We'll see, though. I've been thinking about their Type set album recently, so it would be nice if it wasn't the only Whitman album in my collection. It needs a friend. I think this might be an interesting, cheap little fun project. No keys. And with my duplicates page, I have plenty to choose from.

It would make a nice comparison between the two albums. I think the nickel and the blue of the album would look nice.

Perhaps. We shall see. I received the 12-S today. Is it just me, or does the obverse look like it might have been cleaned slightly? The obverse looks pretty good, though, IMO The reverse looks really good besides the damage I'm satisfied with my purchase, though and the price I paid. My patience paid off. Now I just need to work on cracking it out of the slab today!

Great addition. Hard to say if it was cleaned, at least IGC didn't indicate that.

Very true. I cracked it out of it's plastic prison today. Little more in depth look at the "rim damage". And now, at least in my mind, my collection is complete. Obviously, I do not have the 1885 any longer, as stated in one of my previous posts. I may revisit this in the future, and I may not.
