Looks like the boys down at the mint's penny department got a little creative for New Year's... not only did they beat out the 2026 issues but they used two different metals!

I'm sure they were inspired by the 1792 silver center cent... see the resemblance?

The US MInt has their little quarter dispenser at the FUN show in Orlando.

It was dispensing the Mayflower Compact quarters today, both P & D.
Very nice!

Definitely not my favorite design of the 5.
I will wait to see all designs in hand before choosing mine.

It's really hard to read the dual date and other text when it's within a busy field.

I have seen people selling full boxes of the new 2026 quarters on ebay, so they are bound to start showing up in circulation soon.

This may not be the right place to post this but I just noticed that the 2026 Uncirculated Set from the Mint are $124 for this year. How can that be? I would understand if the set included silver coins but doesn't that seem a bit ridiculous? I've put my subscription on pause for the time being. Ok, I'm don't ranting.

Yes, it has been discussed and hated on in some topics in the NCLT forum.

Thanks JBuck. I guess my transition to stamp collection along with coins is well timed.

I might be headed back that way if things remain expensive. I left stamps 40 years ago.
