Some general thoughts below from me as we are now halfway through the contest:
It's interesting to compare the Round 5 results from my 10,000 post contest to where we are today. In the prior contest, the Winners podium looked like this:
Player Total
Keith12 50 <== Champion!
BStrauss3 45 <== Runner Up!
John1 40 <== Need Tie-Breaker
mcshilling 40 <== Need Tie-Breaker
Zurie 40 <== Need Tie-Breaker
jbuck 40 <== Need Tie-Breaker
Set the players names aside for a moment, and you can see that the general points scores track relatively closely.
Of course, we have 5 rounds left in this contest - so plenty of time to make a move.
Between the two contests, nobody has ever won more than one round. I suppose thats a good sign that the contest presents a level playing field.
It is notable however that in this 15,000 post contest CKcollectibles2 has four runner-up finishes in five rounds. Well played indeed!
Reminder on Participation PrizesAll of the players remain eligible for one of the two participation prizes. A quick reminder on them:

Two "Sergeant of Time" clocks. I made these from a mitered lamination of Cherry, Purpleheart and Maple. Each is fitted with a quartz clock movement. Retail price is $46.
These are a smaller version of the clock jbuck won in my 10K contest.
Participation Prize eligibility rules:
There will be two Participation Prizes. Players are eligible to enter into a random drawing for one of the participation prizes (at the conclusion of the contest) if they have participated in at least 8 rounds of guesses
including the final 5 rounds.Now would be a bad time to drop out of the contest.
