Good morning. (First my apologies for the delay. I was out of town Saturday and sent an email to NS indicating my selection, but now I can't find hide nor hair of it anywhere, so maybe I closed the page too quickly.)
Onward! Thank you Nickelsearcher for the fun and challenging contest with the beautiful prizes. The contest helped me clear out some cobwebs but I'm sure they'll be back. With so many gorgeous pieces it wasn't a slam dunk on which to choose.
After looking and pondering to see which prize most appealed to us, we have decided the "Inlaid Curved Lid" box with barrel hinges is best for us. The combination of curves, contrasting color wood, and sleek style captured and held our attention and imagination. I will send and email with the delivery address.
ps. I'm glad it didn't come down to the final round, because I would have guessed much higher than any of the point earners in the final round. Whew!
Thanks again to you Nickelsearcher and congratulations as well to the other winners. PP55 (Cliff)

email received from Petespockets55 (Cliff) with your mailing address. Yes, you did state your prize request in the message, but I want the prizes to be give publicly so everyone can see. You have won this exact box: I'll package up your prize likely tomorrow and get it shipped off to you. Calling Zurie. You may now choose your prize from any of the 3 remaining main event prizes. You are eligible to select the Special Prize box if you want to.

Well played Zurie. Send me your mailing address and I'll package and ship your prize. You won this lovely box - designed with curves in nearly all directions and my new idea of 'dual beam pulls': I hope it brings you a lifetime of enjoyment. Calling halfamind - you may now select your choice from the final 2 remaining Main Event prizes.

@ Benutzer to the CCF I'm suspicious of you dropping in as a new member at the end of this contest, and will be keeping a good eye on your behaviors. I did edit out an unauthorized URL you had included in your first post. Please don't do that again.

That concludes the awarding of the Main Event prizesToday, we'll award the two participation prizes. From the contest rules: "There will be two Participation Prizes. Players are eligible to enter into a random drawing for one of the participation prizes (at the conclusion of the contest) if they have participated in at least 8 rounds of guesses including the final 5 rounds." The participation prizes are my Sergeant of Time clocks. By my accounting there are 20 players eligible for a participation prize. I have listed your forum names in random order and assigned each of you a unique number in the range of 1 to 20. The listing looks like this:
Player Number
CoinForMe 1
joshu-a 2
HondoB 3
I6609 4
Marv65 5
mcshilling 6
Spence 7
Chase007 8
Keith67 9
ttkoo 10
bill069 11
igwt79 12
Dearborn 13
jason39305 14
jbuck 15
loonielewy 16
mrwhatisit 17
nfine 18
triggersmob 19
BStrauss3 20
I ask that everyone check me and be sure I have not made a mistake on this. If you feel you meet the criteria and are not included in the listing now is the time to say so!I will award the Participation Prizes this afternoon by generating and showing two unique random numbers from the range of 1 to 20. The two players whose assigned number above corresponds to each of the generated random numbers will each be awarded a participation prize. The Participation Prize Drawing will Occur this Afternoon

An amazing competition, nickelsearcher. Thank you so much, it was a lot of fun, and it got the grey matter all fired up trying to use some semblance of logic to try and get close ( sadly, none of that helped!). Great job Petespockets55, well done, and also good job Zurie and halfamind. You have all picked up some great examples of nickelsearchers' rare talents. Onwards and upwards, looking forward to the 30,000th post!
