This is my most expensive coin so far. 1997-P PCGS SP69FS SMS Jefferson nickel. Mintage of only 25,000, exclusively issued in the 1997 Botanic Garden Coin and Currency Set.

Great purchases, Seamonkey! I'm jealous. I had considered getting the Satin 1994 and 97 coins as well, but haven't gotten around to it yet. The 94 is a bit cheaper than the 97, if I recall.

Thanks all. Quote: The 94 is a bit cheaper than the 97, if I recall. Yeah the 94 is a higher mintage than the 97 and it shows in the price. I got them both out of the way now so I can stop obsessing about them They will stay in the graded slabs. I still need to get the 2018-S Reverse Proof the the two 2020-W Proof and Reverse Proof variations. I have the 2017 Enhanced Uncirculated set but I may get a second one and keep one intact or buy the nickel separate, haven't decided yet. I think that's all the oddballs of the group

All in good time. I do still need to get some of those as well. The only one I have so far out of the oddity bunch is the 2018 reverse proof. Have you given any thought about how you plan to store the coins? I am assuming you are going to collect 2006 and current. Some people only collect 1938-2005. This was the route I initially took.

Right now they are just going in 2x2's in a binder or left in OGP for the proof sets and mint sets until Dansco has more of the 8113 and 8114 albums made. I will collect all the dates 38 to current.

Kind of annoying, isn't it?
I was actually going to replace some of my albums or pages at some point soon. Well, doesn't look like I will be any time soon.

It is annoying. I hope it's not too long but then again there are several Dansco's I still want to get. I'm still kicking myself for not getting the Sacagawea one before it sold out but you don't know until it's too late. Since they are pricey, I gotta kinda budget for them.

There was a time when Dansco albums, binders, and pages were a plenty.
