Larger photo's would help. Have you found anything on this coin yet?

I'm sure one of these was posted here for ID on the forum a year or two ago, but I can't find the old thread. I can't recall what (if anything) was determined about it, but it's not a coin. I think it's a 19th century British gaming counter, but then, I can't rule out a Burger King promo either. Meanwhile, one of you two guys should change your avatar; it looks like someone's talking to themselves.

I have been here longer, no you haven't, yes I have Now see sap you are causing conflict? I do not know who I am talking to Hey sap do you belong to a Russian coin site also? I have seen a sap on the Russian forum I am signed up on. When I get a better photo I will be at least be able to eliminate what it is not. I am changing my direction on collecting. I am moving into the Russian and Prussian coinage.

These two are very confusing when they get together! That looks like something that was on this site before to me too, but I can't locate the thread either.

When I first got on the thread I was wondering when I posted this. Then I looked at the name. It sure is taking him a long time picking his wife up. They live in LA and she works in NY?

I am starting to think it is made of Plastic or some type of cheep ivory. It more and more is starting to look as a gameing piece, counter or chip. It should not be play money in that era. Play money did not really take off till the 20th century. I think sap is correct on this one.

You know how they say "King me" in chequers , if one were to then flip your gaming piece over..theres a king..maybe not but possibly along those lines? The Date is offputting for that idea ...whats the gobbbledgook on the left side from the date?
Also , below the king at 6 o clock , is that a human skull ?

What is the size of the coin? The width and diameter.

Being that weight and size I would say it is a type of gaming token. Wagering token. It is definatly made in the 20th century. I have asked another person and waiting on his reply. It may be a checkers piece, but the edges are rough. The only checkers pieces I have seen were smooth so you did not do damage to the boards. Other places to try is antique gaming collectors. If it is play money or a childs gaming piece they would be able to tell you. The letters were not meant to be clearly read. So by no means is it a coin as you already know. I had some casino chips I was researching at one time. There are sites around. You may want to check and see if any of those know about it.
