My guess is that another coin was sitting on top, protecting most of the lower coin. Radius of curvature would support the idea. Could easily have happened in a bag, or many other places. Album toning, to the best of my limited experience, would be equally distributed around the perimeter.
Bungle, did someone use that dime as a screwdriver around an electrical contact?

Boy thats too bad with that color bungle but at least its not as bad as this guy... And they're both 43-D!... I wonder if yours is just EDS to mine (Earlier Damaged State)    Edited by Cascade
