Would you say it is more hysterical or more historical? I have to stay up past midnight every night to guess again. LOL!

Would you say it is more hysterical or more historical? Some of the guesses are certainly hysterical! Guess: Travel around the world helping endangered species? You didn't answer my first question (today) - maybe it was too open-ended... so.. question: will you get/need to travel during your volunteer work? Edited to specify which first question..

I got it!
You volunteered to do the drunk driving test.
Where they give you a drink and then you drive a closed course. Drink a bit more and retest.
I did it years ago, it was a blast. Well, I was pretty well drunk as I could get but they let me behind the wheel again and again. Foam brick walls and paper cut outs ect. A whole course to drive through gauging reaction times and abilities with each level.
It was a real eye opener how bad your driving gets when you still "feel" fine. It is more for giggles that you continue testing beyond that point but it is still fun.
Completely safe and very profound how impaired you actually are when even just after a few drinks. Best of all is they pay for the drinks!.
It is the oddest feeling when after about the 4th martini and your obviously drunk, the officers give you a breathalyzer and write down the results..Then help you up, hand you keys and walk you to the car. The cars are specially built so you have a sober driver in passenger seat in case of emergency stop is required. Two steering wheels, two sets of pedals. Very safe. But it feels so unatural the entire time the way they keep the drinks coming, then help you into the car.

Question from my Favorite CCF Member, Wheezydog!: Quote: Would you say it is more hysterical or more historical? Given those two choices, Historical would be much more fitting. Interesting question, Wheezy!

Quote: Travel around the world helping endangered species? No. A great cause and probably would be fun, but my volunteering (as far as I know) would keep me in the USA (or at least North America). Quote: You volunteered to do the drunk driving test. No. Great answer though! Man, you guys are really good at thinking about this! Quote: You volunteered to go aboard as a crew member of the Tall ship of Texas ELISSA with the Galveston Historical Foundation Another extremely well-thought out answer! Unfortunately no. But it would totally be a blast! I would love to do that! Quote: Are you volunteering at the 'Experimental Aircraft Association Aviation Foundation'? Nope, sorry. That would also be fun. You guys are stimulating my brain in many different directions of things I need to start doing! Quote: You fly one of those planes that drops water on forest fires. No, not that. I do greatly admire the guys that do that though! Quote: AOPA volunteer ? (Clarification for those who don't know, AOPA = Airplane owners and Pilots Association) No. Fun, but no. edited to correct my spelling errors, because I forgot to spell check!

Questions: Quote: Is what you volunteered for coin related? No. I would really like to do something like that but I haven't yet. Quote: By the way, are you an F-16 pilot? I flew F-16s in the Air Force for 12 years.

Question: Quote: You volunteered as an instructor of some type. I'm not sure how to answer this. There would be some instructing done, both to groups of people and one on one. If I had to say either yes or no, yes would be a more appropriate answer. Cryptic I know. I'm sorry. I'm actually not trying to hide my answer. It's just a tricky one to answer accurately.
