Cool. Again, those are some nice notes.

Here are the latest additions to my $Z collection:

Nothing special (or even particularly artistic), just a few hole fillers.

Found this while trolling a Lyn Knight auction; a nice replacement note from Northern Ireland.

I like that Irish note. Ireland switched to the Euro in 1999 so this must be from Northern Ireland. Wasn't aware that they printed their own currency and didn't just use British pounds. Cool!

The Northern Irish DO use the British Pound, that note is a 5 British Pounds note, just issued by the Bank of Ireland. Scotland has a few issuers of bank notes too. They do however use the normal British coins.

I really like these UK notes.

How come the Scotland, Jersey and Guernsey notes aren't "Sterling"?

Yes, indeed. I found it on ebay as UNC but knew when it arrived it was a really high grade. Was overwhelmed when it came back as a 67PPQ. Just recently I saw a PMG 66EPQ. Got thinking maybe mine was a 'top pop'? I should be so lucky if that were true.
All in all it is a NICE note.
