my nephew gave me three tax-20c that he got in change yesterday, in the outer eastern suburbs of Melbourne.
I received at 2010 ten-cent at the MCG (change from $5 for a pie) today: partial cosmic-balancing for the deterioration of the cricket.
Gotta say: the MCG is an incredible stadium - maybe it ought to be featured on a coin ...

I have found a few 2010 coins including 20c normal and tax, 50c normal and oz day, as well as 10c. I managed to get some security bags of both 20c normal and tax from the bank  |

I got a sack of ATO 20s from the Yass NAB. I also got $150 of 2009 5 cent pieces from the same place. Today I got a sack of 2009 50 cent pieces from the Dickson NAB. Unfortunately I dropped it when taking it out of the car with a zillion other things. Armaguard don't wrap their 50s very well. Split 4 rolls.

Well, it's not 2010 anymore, but I'm finally finding some 2010 coins. Found a taxman 20¢ and a Guides dollar a week or two ago, and two platypus 20¢ in change from Hungry Jack's just this afternoon.
Also only just managed to finish off every denomination of coins for 2009. I suspect the 10¢, the last one missing, has slipped through my hands before today, I just hadn't noticed. The two that were lurking in my wallet were quite well worn.

So far I've found 10 x CoA 50¢; 3 x Taxation 20¢; 9 x Platypus 20¢; 10 x 10¢;
I've stopped counting the Girl Guide $1 and Aust Day 50¢.
No sign yet of $2 or 5¢.

I got 25 Armaguard $4 security bags of uncirculated 2010 20c platypus.
I've got about 15 of the taxman type.

In the till at work today, I found 1 x ATO 20c, 1 x 2010 CoA 50c (my first) and 2 x $4 bags of 2010 10c (also my first). Needless to say one bag was swapped out straight away. I hope they don't run short of change tomorrow. Steve |
