So, the Dansco would be part of the price too.

What is the going price for the Sacagawea/Native Dollar Dansco ?
About $15 form any of the many online retailers.

Revise my value estimate to $190 then.

My personal reluctance to purchase this is based more on the not being able to see them in advance. Yes, the price is a little high, but really not bad for retail and most definitely far from being a "home shopping" style rip-off.

If they accept returns, and you really think building the set would be difficult, then it is something to consider.

It would be difficult in the sense that my only "coin buying opportunities" are at Coin Auctions, Estate Sales, Estate Auctions, Flea Markets, and the U.S. Mint....and I've not done any of the above for some time.
I have talked on the phone to one of the "other" coin shops here in town....but I've not been there......and I don't know him....but I suppose it would be "smarter" to see if I can buy from there first.

Maybe they can send you some pictures, to at least give you an idea?

I know how bad you want this set, and what that particular series means to you, so I understand your reasoning.

JB is absolutely right about how bad I want this Set......and few to zero avenue's to do it/build it.
Regardless of the route I end up going on this......I'm thinking (believe it or not) that I might sell some of my silver Kennedy's to pay for it !

......

Never thought in a million years that I would consider selling "any" coin I have for any reasoning.....but I'm thinking about it ! ...

(though, selling off "silver" for a less valuable coin (composition) might not be a wonderful idea)(and even moreso, they're not even "Classic" coins....they're "Sac's" for Pete's sake !)
Like, selling off some Kennedy's to buy some Morgans or Silver Trimes, or even a 1909 S VDB......would be the "popular" choice right " ....
Hmmmm.......better just take some more time and think about it !
If I slowly plug away at it, and try to find a coin shop....and get em' one by one over time....then I still wouldn't have to sell my silver Kennedy's to do it.......
What to do........What to do.......

Last I checked my local dealer had all the circulated coins in the series for $3 each. All were BU. Twenty-two coins time $3 = $66, plus the price of an album.

I would see what that local coin shop has to offer you. You might be able to trade the silver half dollars with him for (at least a portion of) the Sac Dollar set.

Like you, I have never sold a coin, but (as you may remember) I did trade some of my half dollar finds to help finish off my Franklin album.

JMHO, and uhmm 2 cents worth(no pun intended), but I make it a practice to never deal with "mail order" coin companies as they are usually ripping you off.

I buy my proofs only directly from the US Mint, and on occasion, a reputable coin dealer.

Chances are if it sounds to good to be true, it usually is, and if it doesn't make sense, chances are it's not true.
