Scooby, does none being in the right place help narrow down the 7 objects? I understand how it helps determine correct locations after the 7 have been figured out.

I can think of one scenario where it would help...if a currency has been in all 7 positions (in 7 different guesses), and if all seven of those guesses have had none in the right position, than that currency can be ruled out. But that scenario seems unlikely.

I don't believe being in the right/wrong place narrows down the # of objects differently. It just helps one (in conjunction with other guesses) to place them correctly at the end.

Wow, Ian. I hope you're not serious!

I assure you there is no "team effort". I just took them as general math questions. I seen no harm in it.

A nice clue that reveals more information than a mixed result.

Like if you get 5 right, 2 in the right place, you still have some math to do. But, if you have 5 right and none in the right place, you can rule all of those currencies out in that particular position.
