Very interesting thread that is brought back to life. Almost 8 years have passed since the original post!
All I can say is that it took me that much time to unload my NCLTs (and circulation too) exclusively through ebay. I was lucky to capitalize on some good opportunities early on and made good deals on a few novelty coins here and there. But overall, it's much - much - more difficult to sell modern Proofs and Specimens today than it was 10 years ago... perhaps due to market saturation or buyer fatigue, or both.
Despite the fees I think ebay is still a good option to sell coins.
