jbuck, in addition to the duplicates, there are a couple of invalid guesses in there...unless I missed a rule change.

Good catch, Steve!  I will let eaglefoot and wolf-n-wa slide this time, only because it does not affect the outcome.  I also corrected Afcop13's guess. |

I won't take his five points away. I know it is a rule, but it is also an honest mistake I think. I have considered removing that rule and just locking duplicates into five points. Hey, if I can mess up (but not seeing what you saw), then anyone can. Comments? |

I certainly don't have a problem with dups getting 5 points, since it was an attempt at participating during the round.

Ya mistakes happen and as long as its clearly stated that duplicates are not allowed then there should not be any intentional problems.
What happens if 2 people post the same guess at the same time? Unlikely but possible.

Why not allow fixing dups, like now, but if it remains as a duplicate at the end of the round it only can get 5 points? The $20.50 and $21.50 guesses would be rounded up to the next dollar, correct? If they placed their guesses before the $21 and $22 guesses, eaglefoot and wolf should actually have the guesses that count. ( edit ) wolf's and eaglefoot's guesses were placed AFTER the rounded guesses...so they become duplicates at $21 and $22. Edited by steve199
