The judges have conferred and after reviewing the tripod closely, we have decided that your answer is acceptable. (and the guy who made up the answer will have the loonie deducted from his pay envelope).
Besides, my wife answered tripod as well and I'm not about to tell her that she is wrong.

This is a method of shooting several shots of the same subject but with a few different exposures.
