I don't have anything even in my collection that is as nice as Seated's 1880. And I'm certain I have nothing like that in my 'extras'. I have to be pretty darn strict in terms of extras I acquire. I'm still looking though and would be happy to bow out of the contest if I cannot find enough value to post up. I haven't looked at what everyone else has put up. If I'm going to participate then I want to contribute at a similar level. Has there been a rule of thumb for this that I missed?

Relax weavus! What you have put up already is fine! I don't see any minimum value required - it's the thought that counts!

Indeed .... the choice of a common date anything works IMHO ..... glad to have you in the contest waevus. Quote: We are waiting for all 27 numbers to be picked correct? That is not my understanding ...... drawing goes on Saturday night and if one of the 'chosen' numbers is pinged then we have a winner. Contest originator can opine different if needed ..... I've got my Hong Kong dollars set aside to ship to one of you. David

So......#17 was drawn.
Now what? Are we waiting for the Wednesday or Saturday draw now?
Hopefully, a couple more people will get in before (whenever).

Weavus, Like Scooby said ... don't worry about it. I've got a pile of 1880's (a common date) that I don't need.

What happened to our contest leader? I hope everything is ok with him.
Looks like #15 was drawn. So, unless I missed where 15 was chosen, we are waiting for Saturday.

nickelsearcher, the last change was for the 27 number draw. With the Saturday draw right around the corner, maybe we should stick with that number, or we could face a higher being drawn and nobody hitting.

Good catch Scooby Due I agree 100% Perhaps you (or someone) could be kind enough to post a hyperlink to the drawing where all the contestants can see the actual number pulled ..... I believe the hyperlink I have above goes to the 'old' system of 46 entries. Tonight is next drawing ...... I have my Hong Kong Dollars available for one of you. David

Indian1 ..... Glad to have you! We changed the 'rules' 2 pages back to use only numbers 1 thru 27. Take a look 3 or posts up (on this page) and you'll find a current roster of the 13 chosen numbers and contestants. Would appreciate you exchanging your requested #33 with one of the other 14 available numbers. Pony up a prize as well ..... at least share a glimmer ..... winner gets the prizes from all the other members. Here is a link to the 27 number drawing: http://www.calottery.com/Games/SuperLottoPlusGood luck everyone on tonight's draw ... it happens at 7:57pm California time .. if no one is pinged contest rolls over to next drawing on Wednesday at 7:57pm. If I'm right no one has won the coins in the kitty. I would like to join, kicking in 3 1976 clad Ike's. If that is OK. I would like the #20. Thanks!

rastatodd, everyone is donating a small prize then picking a number from 1-27. The drawing is tonight at 7:57PM California time. If the powerball number selected is the number you have chosen, everyone sends their donations to the winner. You can find the link and previously chosen numbers above.
Since we can't find our original contest holder, we have kind of adopted it. I would say as long as you post a prize and number that is time stamped and not edited before the number is drawn - you're in!
