Quote: I wish I had a bank like that. Same bank where I got the LGS Series 1934 $100 posted on page 59. It's gotten so now that all the tellers kick any odd bills over to the head teller who sets them aside for when I next come in. There's not something for me there every time, but often enough.

@cashhound, it must take you a long time to count sales up each day!

Also from one of, if not, the lowest run of that series for a non-star note @ 12.8 Mil for 2 runs. http://www.uspapermoney.info/groups/f1990_d.txtQuote: it must take you a long time to count sales up each day! Probably more time than most but that's OK ... I work at home.

A couple of my recent finds of old notes in the wild (all found at work). Right now I almost exclusively collect from circulation, these have been some of my best older note finds. 1969 $100 Star, in very good shape for its age. Hate to hold on to a $100 but this is from a print run of only 576K. Was very happy when I found this one! the $50 1950A is also from a print run of only 576K and while it has quite a bit of discoloration/some type of grime it does not have many folds. In pretty good shape for being 60+ years old!! The 1963B $1 is in good shape for its age I think, and is a Barr Note!

The last bank strap I looked through had a 1957 silver certificate inside, the first one I've ever found in circulation!

I go through about $100 in ones every week which I enter at wheresgeorge.com and this was probably the 7500th bill I've went through, which seems about right for frequency of finding a silver certificate.
