I was going to ask you if you use a "traditional" logic grid.

But, yes, spreadsheets are awesome!

OK. Ready? This one will make you think a little bit more.

For 3 Scooby snacks:

4 coin dealers are restocking their supply shelves: Laura, Pete, Roger and Sarah, who's last names are Barton, Hope, Lawson and Smith, in some order. The following number of tubes were purchased: 42, 46, 48, and 50. The following number of boxes were purchased: 48, 50, 54, and 56.

Based on the clues, tell me First and Last names of the dealers and how many boxes and tubes they bought.

1. Dealer Hope bought as many tubes as Smith bought boxes.
2. Roger bought 6 fewer tubes than boxes bought by Barton.
3. Laura bought 2 more tubes and 2 more boxes than Sarah.
4. One dealer bought exactly 48 tubes and 54 boxes.

I'm not sure there is enough clues for the names but I'm having fun. Since we get only one guess I'm not wasting it quite yet!

It's all there. I've tested it.

Glad to know you're participating, though! Thanks!

How about you guys - do you use the old-fashioned grid layout?

If you're not sure what I'm talking about, wiki "logic puzzle" and you'll see an example layout.
