Well you have been right before Scooby. I know, I marked it on my calendar. I think I'll wait for xshift to decide.

That sounded about as close as you can get to 'I have no idea' without actually admitting it. Or maybe I just read it inside out.

Definitely inside out.. but he wrote it sideways.

I thought CURRENCY and CURRENCY2 have to be in that order

They can be in any order. The second one has its own spot. It could be before the first one (kind of like in a time warp, only without the whole destroying-of-the-space-time-continuum-if-you-happen-to-meet-yourself thing) or after.

So, would one be marked 5/0 and the other as 3/0, or both 5/0 ?

rikcando, I think you meant 5/0 and 5/2. Any permutation shouldn't affect the 1st number!

Ok, cancel that. They would both be 5/0 if they were totally in the wrong spot. I got that but what if the answer was
WST NAD TRY ALL MXN COP BOB ILS ALL2 SOS GHS GYD

And the guess was
WST TRY NAD ALL2 MXN BOB COP ILS ALL GHS SOS GYD

Would this be
12/4 or 12/6?

If they were both in the answer, and in the wrong spots either way, the number right/in the right position would not change.

Guess 1: WST,NAD,TRY,ALL2,MXN,COP,BOB,ILS,ALL,SOS,GHS,GYD
Guess 2: WST,NAD,TRY,ALL,MXN,COP,BOB,ILS,ALL2,SOS,GHS,GYD

Answer: NAD,TRY,WST,TOO,BAD,DOG,NOE,STK,FOR,J00,ALL,ALL2

Both would receive a 5/0.

Thank you so much. That is what I needed to here. Looks like no more marks on my calendar today.

Can you tell that confusion and intimidation are two of the stronger points of my strategy this game. :)
