Right now I'm figuring there are almost 23,000 number combinations left....this could take a while. My guess for today is 22-09-31.

I get 13,905 possible combinations left. And there will be even less once I go back and take into consideration the numbers marked when only one number was right, and the ones added once two numbers were correct.
I'll make my guess in a bit.

Wow, if I programmed this right thee are only 45 different combinations possible with all clues included.

Edit: Wouldn't it be nice if I was right. I think I made a typo so don't believe this number.

Ok, I forgot to reset my color checks between loops on second and thid digits. The total I have now is 1932.

That's about where I was, too.
But, we are ruling them out quickly.

Let's see if this helps to confuse things a little more:
One of the guesses had both of the correct numbers in it.

23,000?
If you take all of the numbers when you said that only one number was right, compare this to the numbers when you said there was two numbers and we now have three separate groups. You need to have one of hte numbers from the first group, one from the second group, and one from those left over. This will leave you with 7,156 possible combinations.

Now that you've said one of the guesses had two numbers it will be easy to narrow that down using the first two groups.

So how did you's get 23,000 ?

I went back & looked at the clues again.......I forgot there was one number in the 1st group & one number in the second group.......without dragging out the calculator I can say it's a good bit less than 23,000 combinations.

Thank you trdhrdr007. I can go to bed now.

ps. if you eliminate the numbers from each of the column they used used in for the guesses where none were in the right location (like in mastermind) you will find the number is getting much lower.

G'nite all, and good luck to all of you.
