Gonna help you a little bit here guys, as the prize of this contest is very eager and looking forward for a new loving home. :)
I haven't been to New Jersey in my life, though I have seen some of it from Roosevelt Island in Manhattan, New York. I took the cable (the French call it Teleferique).
As you can see, I had been to New York, but it isn't the shortest stay I had. I have stayed in New York for a plenty of time. So, you can eliminate New York and New Jersey.
I quite liked New York City, but as much as I have seen in the States, it isn't my favorite.
