Speaking of Czechoslovakia ... The strongman of Russia, Joseph Stalin (Georgian national, Ioseb Jughashvilli) have never appeared on Soviet coins. 50 CZK, though, gave him that honor.

Cool coin Svslav, I like the calender on the reverse. Here is another one of mine. A two headed coin from Denmark. Denamark 1986 10 Kroner KM# 865

I have some "two headed" coins but they mostly have both heads on the same side. This coin I don't own but it struck me as goofy looking. By the way the legend on the reverse is the child's spelling of the denomination, 1 lats:

Quote:Yes, a shameless plug for Guess The Price. Yea, it looks like people are having fun there, but in general I stay away from "Guess ...(fill in the blanc)" contests. I love NZ pre-decimal and decimal but I haven't been able to keep up with their recent issues.

Nice Druid, zeewool! Mine is in much rougher shape. Another coin I don't own, but find this zodiac series rather interesting. They have all signs in this style. Belarus, 20 roubles.
