Russia, by the way, is "Russian Federation", it has quite a few republics within. But none of them has its own money.

Yes, thanks for all the information svslav! I have 2 big bags of world coins that have been neglected for several years that are now being sorted on the table. I think I'm going to have to run out and get some flips tomorrow. Pot of coffee #2 is brewing! I'm not sure where most of these coins are from but I'm sure I'll learn bunches in the process.
