As promised earlier, finally home from work and can post. She's not the prettiest girl at the dance, but she's all mine.

This TY 1 1917 S looks a bit nicer without the green on it that shows in these images. It did disappear using our Verdi-Care soak. Still it retains a rather dark toning but the detail I see is perhaps leaving a net grade coin VF20-VF25 range.

I love 1917 Type 1 SLQs! IMO the design is much more attractive than the Type 2, and obviously with the 1917 it's a bit easier to afford uncirculated ones than a 1916... 1917 Type 1, MS-64: MS-65 FH:

Not the best photos, but it is what I have from my quick 7070 photo shoot... I wish I had time to do the reverse, but as I said earlier, removing and replacing the rear slides on my 7070 proved to be challenging.

Some of those are beautiful. I have never seen one except fo rthe mangled ones I have. I never knew what they really looked like. I am going to get one of those someday.

I agree with monkeyman67: the 1929 in my type set might be Good-Fair, but after seeing these great coins I have put a BU or AU Standing Liberty quarter on my wish list.

I'm pretty sure it was decided that this was a 1917 t1 back when I found it in a junk silver box:
