I got all excited about a new game and entered. But after some thought, I felt others would appreciate your gifts more than me.

Ahhh shucks? You're more than welcome to play again if you change your mind! What was uppermost in my mind when I thought of this contest is that the coins I'm giving as prizes are fairly easy to find circulating in change and rolls in Canada and where a lot of Canadian coins are common change States side near border crossings. The idea in my head was to try give those a chance who don't find Canadian coins in rolls or change where they're located (States far from Canada border, or in other countries) None of what I find, could be considered "high grade". I don't know "grading" but I do know "perfection" and these ain't perfectly unmarked up but I think they would be great just to have some samples for starters just to see what they look like up close and personal, or for filling those missing holes for now. I don't want to disappoint people with the qualities of the coins I can find and send, so anyone looking for higher grades would be disappointed I think? They are better shape than most metal detector finds though In that spirit ... have fun with this! I'm enjoying too and thats the real prize FUNSIES

Every so often, I find a Canadian coin in change even down here in Georgia. Sorry to say, I just drop them in a box and don't look at them closely. I do have bills from when I visited Montreal in 1979. They are in with my currency collection. When I get home, I will try to make a list.

"Every so often" isn't often enough in my books, so anyone finding Canadians "every so often" works in this contest if they want my prizes Let me know when you post a thread with your Canadian currency pieces Fuzzy317!
